Winter in Nauvoo

Here are a few scenes from Nauvoo.

The river you see is the Mississippi River. The brick house is where we live. The group on the Temple steps is a combination of Temple and site missionaries singing Christmas Carols on Christmas Eve. The geese are resident fowl who have been her since we arrived in April. The nativity is on the temple grounds and the lighted street is downtown Nauvoo.

The temperature today is about 15 degrees but it is forecast to be in the 50's by Thursday.  We hope you all had a Merry Christmas!

What wonderful memories you are making. Such a beautiful place to be with wonderful people to share Christ's birth. We miss you both and hope your next year will go as fast as the last 6 months!!
